Mission

Crossing Jordan is a mentoring program for youth and young adult aging out of foster care. The name "Crossing Jordan" was inspired by the Word of God.

"Now then ... get
ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to
them" Joshua 1:2 NIV

The Jordan River signifies the transition from adolescents to adulthood and the land signifies the plan for your life our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ has in store for you.

In 1973 I left foster care and crossed over the Jordan River into the land that the Lord had prepared for me. During my crossing Jesus and I have developed what I feel is the greatest relationship. I had many mentors during my travels and it is my desire to share with you the thinks I have learned from my mentors.
